Daniel 8: The Ram and The Goat

Daniel is given a vision of the future for the Jews. This vision is of ram pushing its way west, north and south. Then a male goat came with speed, confronted the ram, and destroyed him. The male goat became big and strong, but out of its horns comes a little heart that grows great. The angel Gabriel explains to Daniel that this vision refers to the time of the end. He explains the ram represents the Medo-Persian empire, and the goat represents the Grecian empire. A little more info is given about the little horn. Daniel is then told to seal up the vision because it’s for the future. So Daniel does and goes back to doing the king’s business.
