Small Groups

Small groups meet in homes around our community and are all about sharing life together. They’re a relaxed place to build friendships, talk honestly, and grow deeper in our faith as we follow Jesus together.

Whitcomb's Community Group

Meets weekly on Mondays from 6-7:30pm

Ben and Janet Whitcomb are opening up their home in Black Diamond for a community group that’s all about faith, friendship, and fun. Each week they’ll be facilitating discussion based on the previous Sunday’s sermon—so you can dive deeper, ask questions, and talk through how it connects to real life. They love the outdoors, board games, and any excuse to get people together—so expect a mix of good conversation, lots of laughter, and maybe even some friendly competition around the game table. The group will meet on Monday nights from 6:00–7:30 p.m. There’s no formal childcare, but kids are welcome to hang out in the living room or basement if they’re able. And yes—there may even be dessert from time to time. Come ready to relax, connect, and be part of the Whitcomb's welcoming crew!

Avery Community Group

Meets weekly on Mondays from 6-8pm

Aaron and Jessica Avery host a sermon-based small group on Monday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. This group is designed to build community and provide a welcoming space to share life together while also engaging in meaningful discussion around the previous Sunday’s message. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, explore practical applications, and encourage one another in faith. Jessica and Aaron are both healthcare workers with young adult children, and they love music, people, and getting together with others. Childcare will be available throughout the evening, though space may be limited depending on the age range of children present. They would love for you to join them!

Our classes come in all shapes and sizes. Some are short-term and tailored to specific needs like finances, marriage, or parenting. Others are longer-term and take you on a deeper dive into God’s Word. Wherever you start, each class is designed to help you grow and apply faith in everyday life.
