A typical gathering
Faith comes first. Fun belongs here, too.
We start with a group game, followed by student-led worship and teaching from the Bible. There’s time to make friends, ask questions, and enjoy being together throughout the evening.
The Bible is at the heart of our time together.
Prayer
We turn our attention to God and spend time in prayer together.
Worship
We worship God together, making time to praise Him and reflect on who He is.
Bible teaching
We open the Bible and learn directly from Scripture. God’s Word is the foundation of the lesson.
Games
There’s time to play, laugh, and have fun together. Games give kids a way to connect.
Fellowship
Time to talk and spend time together helps kids get to know one another and build friendships.
For parents & guardians
A little information before the first visit.
Drop-off is welcome. Parents and guardians are also welcome and encouraged to stay and see what a youth group session is like. If you have a question before your first visit, please get in touch.
When and where does youth group meet?
We meet every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. We typically meet at our church office on Cole Street, but we occasionally go do activities together.
Can I drop off my child or stay for the session?
Yes, drop-off is welcome. Parents and guardians are also welcome and encouraged to stay, check out a session, and experience youth group alongside their child.
What ages or grades can attend?
Youth Group is for Middle School and High School aged students. Since so many of our students are home schooled, this typically means aged 12-17 year old.
What will my child be learning?
The lesson is taught straight from the Bible. Alongside prayer and worship, we spend time learning from God’s Word together. We go verse-by-verse through a book of the Bible so your child learns the Word of God in context – and then how to apply it to their lives.
Is there time to make friends?
Yes. Games and fellowship are part of youth group, giving kids time to have fun, talk, and get to know one another.
Who can I ask about a first visit?
Fill out the Connect Card below with your questions, and let us know you’re interested in youth group. We would love to make your first visit a fun and comfortable one!
Your First Tuesday
Your first Tuesday, from games to goodbyes.
Our youth group meets in an open room with couches, chairs, and snacks. At 6:30 PM, we start with a group game—usually outside during the lighter summer evenings and inside during the darker months. Then our youth worship team leads a few songs from the platform. After worship, students grab a last snack, their Bibles, and a seat for a message directly from the Bible that typically lasts about 30 minutes. We finish the organized portion around 8:00 PM. Students can head home or stay until about 8:30 to play and hang out while parents visit and chat.
Can I stay for the evening?
Yes! Parents and guardians are welcome to stay, meet others, and experience a Tuesday night alongside their student.
What time should I pick up my student?
The organized portion finishes around 8:00 PM. You’re welcome to pick up then or stay for conversation while students hang out until 8:30 PM.
What should my student bring?
Students can bring a Bible for the teaching portion of the evening. If you don’t have one, we’re happy to provide one.
Where do we meet?
We usually meet at our church office at 1327 Cole Street in Enumclaw. Contact us before your first visit to confirm the location, since we occasionally head out for an activity.
Where do I park?
You can park on Cole Street in front of the office or park around back in our parking lot on Railroad Ave.
What should my student wear?
There’s no special dress code—come casual and comfortable!
Who greets us?
One of our youth leaders will welcome you and your student, show you around, and help them meet others before the evening gets started. Let us know it’s your first visit—we’d love to introduce ourselves and answer any questions. If your student doesn’t know anyone yet, one of our youth leaders will introduce them to other students and help them join in.
Does my child need to know anyone or know the Bible already?
No—students are welcome whether they’ve grown up in church or are opening a Bible for the first time. One of our youth leaders will help them meet others, and we’ll walk through the Bible together with room to learn and ask questions.
Can they ease into activities without being put on the spot?
Yes! Your student is welcome to watch and get comfortable before joining in. We’ll invite them to participate without pressuring them or drawing attention to them. They can get to know the group at their own pace.
Is there a cost, and do we need to register?
There’s no cost, and your student doesn’t need to bring anything. If you’re dropping them off, we’ll need a parent or guardian’s contact information before you leave. Please also let us know about any allergies or other needs so we can care for your student. If you’re staying, you’re welcome to check things out first. After a few visits, we’ll invite you to complete our family information form so we can keep you updated on youth group and upcoming events.
